The Smart Pool employs, as always, a locking period of 180 days and an unlocking period of 60 days to ensure the security and stability of the system. During these periods, tokens are secured and then gradually released, maintaining the platform's robustness and the integrity of the pool. We're pleased to announce that a total of 200,000 XMT tokens will be distributed as rewards to the stakers in this XMT Smart Pool. That's a hefty sum, and it's all going straight to you, our valued community members. But that's not all - the buyback coming from the dApp Premiums will also be distributed into this Smart Pool. This means that the number of XMT rewards in the pool is set to grow over time, providing even more incentives for participation.
We are also delighted to mention that thanks to Optimism's Grant, Optimistic rollup (OP) volumes will help incentivize the dApp usage, which in turn will contribute to the buyback and incentives in this staking pool.
